Site With a Purpose

 

First of all thank you all of you that showed up to the 1 2 Life event @ Isle of Tarasso

While there I got alot of great compliments on the build, and heard some great feedback and opinions from the residents of second life. As you all know sometimes Second Life is kinda like a high school popularity contest, possibly cause some of the residents of second life are still in high school or college ^^.

I have taken a bit of time since everything has calmed down after the event and I wanted to focus on making this into a useful tool for, me, you, and everyone else that could randomly click onto here.

 Just a few strands of info itself isn’t enough to make a site a tool, sure you can put all sorts of informative text, you can put long posts put your reader to sleep and drool on their keyboard. But I think it is important to shoot for something interactive, and it is my goal to really satisfy the interests of the Second Life community in a fun and creative way. ( quite a little challenge ^^ )

So starting off I added a domain name www.iota-studios.com, means no more word press this and that and so on. Unfortunatley I don’t believe that will work until 8/4/08, 2 days from this post, then it should be all clear. ( Takes time to get domain names to point to their servers )

You of course can find on our website a products, projects, services, gallery, about us, and contact page. each has a little info on iota studios and my in world store [OMFG]. But I don’t believe that is enough to keep people coming back. So here we are with over 400 subscribers in world, and I am facing a big challenge.

So with your comments, suggestions, advice etc, I would like to know what would make this place worth coming back to, what would help you understand more about the custom services or the products my in world store offers, what benefits you most?
